Romsons Urine Meter 2L Capacity (500ml Increments) – 1 Unit
Romsons Urine Meter 2L is a clear, durable bedside urine collection and measurement device designed for accurate urine output monitoring in hospitals, clinics and home-care settings. With easy-to-read 500ml graduations and a reliable outlet tap, this urine meter delivers precise bed-side drainage management for patients with urinary catheters.
Key Benefits
- Accurate urine output monitoring – clear graduated scale with 500ml markings up to 2L for precise measurement.
- Durable medical-grade construction – transparent material provides visibility and durability for clinical use.
- Easy to use and maintain – secure leak-proof outlet tap and hanging hole for bedside mounting.
- Compatible with standard urinary catheters and drainage systems for bedside and mobile patient care.
- Single-unit packaging ideal for hospital wards, post-operative care, ICU and home-care monitoring.
Ingredients and Materials
Made from medical-grade polymer (transparent polycarbonate / PVC blend) with permanently molded graduated scale (500ml increments), fitted with a leak-resistant outlet tap and secure inlet for catheter connection. Materials are chosen for strength, visibility and biocompatibility suitable for urine collection and monitoring.
How to Use
- Wash hands and prepare the device. If packaged sterile, open using aseptic technique.
- Connect the inlet to the patient’s catheter drainage tube ensuring a secure fit. Hang the meter below bladder level to allow gravity drainage.
- Ensure clamps on the catheter are opened to permit flow. Read the urine level at eye level against the graduated scale (check 500ml marks).
- Record urine output as required by clinical protocol. To empty, close the catheter clamp (if present), place a container under the outlet tap and open the tap to drain; then close the tap and rehang.
- Replace the meter according to facility policy or when visibly soiled/damaged. Follow local biomedical waste disposal guidelines for single-use devices.
Who It’s For
Designed for clinicians, nurses and caregivers caring for patients who require accurate urine output monitoring: postoperative patients, ICU patients, those with indwelling urinary catheters, long-term catheterised patients, and home-care or hospice patients requiring bedside urology monitoring.
