Solventum 3M Adaptic Digit Non-Adhering Large Dressing 2.8cm MAD023 is a single large non-adhering dressing with a silicone-coated fabric wound-contact layer and tubular bandage for finger and toe injuries. It may be used as a primary or secondary dressing.

Product Features and Materials

The dressing combines a tacky, silicone-coated fabric wound-contact layer with a tubular bandage. No applicator or scissors are required for application.

How to Use
  • Choose a dressing size that matches the affected finger or toe. Prepare the wound according to the relevant wound management protocol and ensure the surrounding skin is dry.
  • Open the package using aseptic technique and remove the dressing from the shiny backing strip.
  • Position the silicone non-adhering layer over the digit tip and gently smooth it over broken skin.
  • Roll the lower tubular bandage ring over the wound-contact layer and any secondary dressing being used. Roll down the upper ring to create a double layer.
  • For removal, gently roll up both tubular bandage rings and lift the non-adhering layer from the wound bed.
  • Base dressing changes on the condition of the wound and appropriate wound care practice.
