Ingredients and Materials
Central absorbent pad: non-adherent wound contact layer over an absorbent gauze or cotton pad. Backing: breathable non-woven or polyethylene film. Adhesive: hypoallergenic acrylic adhesive designed for sensitive skin. Sterile packaging: individual sealed pouches for single-use sterile protection.
How to Use
- Wash and dry hands thoroughly before handling the dressing.
- Clean the wound with sterile saline or appropriate wound cleanser and dry the surrounding skin.
- Open the sterile pouch and remove the dressing without touching the central pad.
- Place the non-adherent pad directly over the wound and press the adhesive border to secure. Ensure smooth adhesion and avoid creases.
- Change the dressing according to wound condition or at least once daily, or sooner if saturated or contaminated.
