Introcan FEP 24G x 19mm Yellow — Single Sterile IV Cannula (1 Unit)
Introcan FEP 24G x 19mm is a precision-engineered peripheral IV cannula designed to provide reliable venous access for infusion, medication administration and blood sampling. The FEP (fluorinated ethylene propylene) catheter material offers smooth insertion, kink resistance and consistent performance. Supplied sterile and single-use, this yellow 24 gauge cannula is ideal for paediatric and adult small-vein access where a fine-gauge peripheral IV catheter is required.

- FEP catheter material provides smooth insertion, reduced friction and kink resistance.
- Colour-coded 24G (yellow) hub for fast visual identification and workflow efficiency.
- Single-use sterile device reduces infection risk and simplifies inventory.
- Versatile for infusion, medication administration, blood sampling and short-term IV therapy.
Ingredients and Materials
Catheter: FEP (fluorinated ethylene propylene) polymer for low-friction and kink resistance. Needle: stainless steel sterile hypodermic needle with protective hub. Hub and housing: medical-grade polymer, colour-coded yellow for 24G. Sterility: gamma-sterilised single-use packaging. Product designed for peripheral IV access and single-patient use.
How to Use
- Prepare the site according to standard aseptic technique and select an appropriate vein.
- Stabilise the vein and advance the needle/catheter assembly into the vessel until flashback is observed.
- Advance the catheter off the needle into the vein, then withdraw and dispose of the needle safely in an approved sharps container.
- Secure the catheter with dressing and connect to infusion set or cap as required. Follow facility protocols for flushing, labelling and monitoring.
