Ingredients and Materials
Cosmopor E dressings are made from a breathable non-woven backing with a centrally positioned absorbent pad and a low-adherent wound contact layer. The adhesive is hypoallergenic to reduce skin irritation. Materials are selected for absorbency, gentle wound contact and reliable fixation. The product is sterile and single-use.
How to Use
- Wash and dry hands thoroughly.
- Clean the wound according to local clinical guidance.
- Open the sterile pack and remove the protective release paper without touching the wound pad.
- Center the absorbent pad over the wound and smooth the adhesive borders onto intact skin to secure.
- Change the dressing when heavily soiled or saturated, or as advised by a healthcare professional.
- Dispose of the dressing after single use. Use only once.
Who It’s For
Suitable for adults and children for management of low- to moderately-exuding wounds such as postoperative incisions, suture sites, minor cuts, abrasions and lacerations. Useful in both clinical settings and home first-aid kits. Not intended for deep cavities or heavily exuding/chronic infected wounds — seek clinical advice in those cases.
