Ingredients and Materials
Contents typically include a reusable nasal rinse bottle made from BPA-free plastic with a soft silicone nozzle, pre-measured saline sachets and an instruction leaflet. Saline sachet ingredients: sodium chloride and sodium bicarbonate (pre-measured dry mix). Materials: BPA-free bottle, screw cap, silicone tip, sealed saline sachets and user guide.
How to Use
- Wash hands thoroughly. Use distilled, previously boiled (and cooled) or sterile water to prepare the rinse solution to avoid infection.
- Pour the recommended volume of water into the bottle and add one pre-measured saline sachet. Close the bottle and shake until the powder dissolves.
- Lean over a sink, tilt your head to one side, insert the nozzle into the upper nostril and gently squeeze so the saline flows through the nasal passages and out the opposite nostril.
- Repeat on the other side. Blow your nose gently after rinsing. Clean and air-dry the bottle and nozzle after each use.
- Use as directed by your healthcare professional; common frequency is once or twice daily during symptomatic periods.
Who It's For
Suitable for adults and older children under supervision who experience chronic rhinosinusitis, recurrent sinus congestion, allergic rhinitis or dry nasal passages. Also useful for post-operative nasal care when recommended by a clinician. Not intended for use on infants unless advised by a healthcare professional.
Caution & Storage
Use only sterile, distilled or previously boiled (and cooled) water to prepare saline solution. Do not use unfiltered tap water. Stop use and consult a doctor if you experience severe pain, fever, unusual discharge, ear pain or persistent bleeding. Store sealed sachets in a cool, dry place. Clean and thoroughly dry the bottle and nozzle after each use; replace the device if cracked or damaged. Keep out of reach of children.
