Constructed from medical-grade polyurethane (commonly used for enteral tubes) or soft silicone depending on manufacture batch. Integrated radiopaque stripe (barium-impregnated) enables x-ray visibility. Atraumatic tapered tip and side drainage eyes reduce mucosal trauma. Supplied sterile in single-use packaging. Connector type may be ENFit-compatible or standard enteral connector — check packaging label for connector specification.

1. Use only under trained clinical supervision. Confirm indication for nasogastric feeding.
2. Measure from the patient’s nose to earlobe to xiphoid process (NEX) to estimate insertion length.
3. Lubricate the tip with water-soluble lubricant. Insert gently via the nostril to the measured depth.
4. Confirm placement with chest/abdominal x-ray to visualize radiopaque marker before first use.
5. Secure the tube to the nose/cheek with appropriate fixation device. Flush with water before and after feeds/medications per protocol.
6. Discard after single use and follow local clinical waste disposal regulations.

Intended for patients who require short-term nasogastric enteral nutrition or gastric decompression, including pediatric patients, small adults and clinical populations with dysphagia, postoperative nutritional needs or temporary inability to swallow. Use only when clinically indicated and follow institutional feeding protocols.
