Ingredients and Materials

Cosmopor Transparent dressings are manufactured from a thin, flexible polyurethane film backing and a central non-woven absorbent pad (viscose/polyester blend). The dressing uses a hypoallergenic acrylic adhesive and a silicone-treated release liner for easy application. Materials are chosen to be low-lint, breathable and provide a reliable bacterial barrier while remaining transparent for wound monitoring.

How to Use
  1. Wash and dry hands thoroughly. Clean the wound or IV site according to clinical guidance.
  2. Remove the dressing from sterile packaging and peel away the release liner.
  3. Center the absorbent pad directly over the wound or catheter site and smooth the adhesive film onto intact skin without stretching.
  4. Press the edges gently to ensure a secure seal. Replace dressing if pad becomes saturated, edges lift, or per clinical instructions.
  5. Discard after single use. Do not attempt to re-sterilise or reuse.
