BSN Delta-Lite Plus White 50mm x 3.6m

The BSN Delta-Lite Plus White 50mm x 3.6m is a professional-grade fibreglass casting tape engineered for lightweight, high-strength immobilisation and splinting. This water-activated, radiolucent cast material offers rapid set times, exceptional conformability and breathability β€” ideal for orthopaedic casts, splints and first-aid immobilisation in clinical and emergency settings.

Key Benefits

  • Lightweight high-strength fibreglass for durable immobilisation
  • Water-activated polyurethane resin for fast initial set (3–5 minutes)
  • Radiolucent material allows clear x-ray imaging without removal
  • 50mm width x 3.6m roll β€” versatile length for limbs, paediatric and adult applications
  • Open-weave structure improves breathability and patient comfort
  • Easy to mould and trim for accurate anatomical contours
Ingredients and Materials

BSN Delta-Lite Plus is constructed from a woven fibreglass substrate impregnated with a proprietary water-activated resin (polyurethane-based) to provide rapid curing and strong structural support. The tape is finished in white and designed for medical use in casts and splints. Materials: fibreglass weave, resin impregnation, protective release liner on roll.

How to Use
  1. Ensure underlying padding and stockinette are applied as per clinical protocol.
  2. Immerse the Delta-Lite Plus tape in room-temperature water for 2–5 seconds; squeeze to remove excess water.
  3. Wrap tape in overlapping layers (typically 3–6 layers depending on application) and mould to the limb to achieve desired contour.
  4. Initial set occurs within 3–5 minutes; handle gently during curing. Full mechanical strength is achieved over the next 24–48 hours.
  5. Trim edges and finish as required. Dispose of unused portions according to local regulations.
Who It’s For

Designed for healthcare professionals working in orthopaedics, emergency medicine, sports medicine, physiotherapy and first-aid responders. Ideal for clinicians who require a reliable, lightweight fibreglass casting tape for immobilisation, splint fabrication and repair of existing casts.
