Start wrapping from the distal end of the limb and work proximally. Apply with even tension (avoid excessive tightness) and overlap each turn by approximately 50% to ensure uniform compression. Use a spiral or figure-of-eight technique for joints. Secure with clips, pins or medical tape as required. Check circulation after application—look for colour change, numbness or tingling. Remove slowly and wash according to care instructions before reuse.
