Ingredients and Materials

This product is constructed with a fluorinated ethylene propylene (FEP) catheter for a low‑friction, kink‑resistant lumen and a high‑quality stainless steel intravenous needle. Materials are medical‑grade and biocompatible. The device is supplied sterile and is intended for single use only.

How to Use
  1. Confirm patient identity and vein selection using standard clinical assessment.
  2. Perform hand hygiene and apply aseptic technique; don appropriate PPE.
  3. Prepare site with antiseptic and allow to dry.
  4. Insert the Introcan FEP 20G x 32mm into the vein using the manufacturer’s recommended bevel angle until flashback is observed.
  5. Advance the FEP catheter into the vein while withdrawing the needle, secure the catheter with appropriate dressing or fixation device.
