Alula Infant Starter Formula 1 Powder 900g is a milk-based formula for infants aged 0 to 6 months. It is intended for use when breastfeeding is not possible and does not contain breast milk.

Ingredients
  • Milk ingredients: Whey protein, skimmed milk powder and lactose.
  • Vegetable oils: Palm fruit, coconut or palm kernel or palm kernel olein, soybean, canola or high oleic sunflower seed.
  • Other ingredients: Soybean lecithin, L-taurine and nucleotides.
  • Minerals: Calcium phosphate, magnesium chloride, potassium citrate, calcium hydroxide, potassium chloride, potassium bicarbonate, sodium bicarbonate, calcium chloride, ferrous sulphate, potassium hydroxide, zinc sulphate, copper sulphate, potassium iodide, sodium selenite and manganese sulphate.
  • Vitamins: Ascorbic acid, DL-alpha tocopheryl acetate, nicotinamide, calcium-D-pantothenate, retinyl palmitate, thiamine hydrochloride, pyridoxine hydrochloride, riboflavin, beta-carotene, folic acid, phytonadione, biotin, cholecalciferol and cyanocobalamin.
How to Use
  • Wash hands and feeding utensils well. Boil utensils for 5 minutes and keep clean bottles or cups closed until use.
  • Boil fresh safe drinking water for 5 minutes without over-boiling. Allow it to cool to lukewarm before adding the required amount to a bottle or cup.
  • Measure powder using only the enclosed scoop. Level each scoop with the back of a clean, dry knife. Do not alter the powder-to-water ratio.
  • Stir in a cup until dissolved. In a bottle, attach the teat, close, shake well and test the feed temperature on the inside of the wrist before feeding.
  • Prepare each feed immediately before feeding. If more than one feed is prepared, refrigerate it and use within 24 hours. Discard unfinished feeds.
  • Hold the infant upright during feeding.

  • Breast milk is the best food for babies.
  • Use only on the advice of a health professional.
  • This product is not always sterile and must be prepared and used appropriately.
  • Keep in a cool, dry place. Avoid prolonged storage at excessive temperatures.
  • Replace the plastic lid after use and use within 4 weeks of opening.
  • Check the expiry date on the bottom of the can.
